Bring warm clothes, everybody thinks that because SanFran is in California that it must be warm, not so. The warmest summer day in SF is like the coldest winter day in SoCal. A gal at work took her family (in from MD) to SF last August, I warned her, they ended up buying sweatshirts and jackets after they got there...

Yep, they are colder there, and then they have the ocean breeze bringing the chill factor. In the summer it can be 110 here up north in Redding, and it'll be 70 there in the gay bay. (that's the SF nickname)

There's a FEW HAMBers in "the city"...
Maybe they haven't seen this post yet?

Its a pretty simple weather pattern that repeats every year:
June, July, and August are usually cold. The best weather in the Bay Area is September and October. Its coming up on a mild 75 degrees in the City today. Very nice weather if you ask me..
Early November should still be nice.
Fog in the AM, burns off, then mild afternoons.
Other Bay Area Hot Rod stuff:
Roy Brizio's shop
Vern Tardel's (Santa Rosa)
Pick up DRIVE magazine, a free monthly with show listings and shop adds for the Bay Area.
Have fun...
