that's right on or two of you drunk idiots may have sat in this tupperware t bucket body at the pileup with a haybail in it a lil over a week ago. but now it's reality a greasers wet dream come true. this was just all a bunch of junk I had laying around kinda. came together nice in 16 hours the straight eight olds looks bitchin in there. it's longer than the body itself hahaha. it' was going to carry a motley crue satanic theme till I missed bidding on my dodge brothers grille shell with a 6 pointed star on it. Well I know you guys woullda loved it but I will come through with something. dig those Knobby rear recaps. later drew

I was sitting on a hay bale, listen to some music, and sitting beside me, in the hot rod body, were two of the cutist little boys, about 8 years old, diggin the music, and dreamin away about hot rods. I did see someone come up a take their photo. Maybe it was a HAMBer and they could post it. Would be a cool shot to hang on the wall in your shop.

But, The tank is well I am not sure I bought it at the t and a swap last winter the old guy could barley pick it up he wanted 10 I offered him 5. it must be some kinda speedster tank.

I am doing my best to try to build this car to get into the gayrods CC it's a nationwide club. To get in you gotta ride poleposition in a t bucket. I heard the cheaters all made it in hands down. hahahaha

Hack the exhaust will be tommy gunn style off course. Maybeee I will incorporate some more capone style shit in there that could be cool.

The frame is a Suicideaxle frame "built by your truely and definitly off square cause I can't read a tape" but keep it quite people don't all like that around here.

But I gotta say... the curved windshield looks a little too RAT ROD-A-Billy for me... but then again, I don't build for the statement...

I like the windshield. It just screams "Shout at the Devil" or perhaps "Too Fast for Love" if you are a Cheater. I need to work on my parts stash so I can get Lance Romance's Tee put otgether for him. He still keeps insisting he wants a DANA rear end under it. I keep telling him I don't know any guys named Dana and he should be happy with a 9 incher like the rest of us!

Hey Sam - It isn't just the RR that have that windshield problem. The Flint roadster was one of my favorite cars until I saw an old picture of someone sitting in (on?) it....looked rediculous. Still a great car I suppose, just hate seeing it with a driver.

Are you seriously going to run that straight 8 Olds, abomber30? Or is this post a teaser? If the former, what's the rest of the drivetrain made up of? The Olds tranny and rear that came with the engine?

It's got a mean look, alright, but, a ... is it really going to, well, be a decent performer? Sure the body and frame are light, but how reliable is a Flathead Olds 8? I'm not being critical so much as wanting some facts 'cause there's a forgotten 1940s Olds is sitting in the weeds a couple miles away with its straight eight engine and trans intact. And then there's that steel 1923 roadster body out behind the shed...

seriously I am going to run the motor. It was a hundred dollars and runs like a top. Iguess the question is why not? trans is a hydro and rear end is 8 inch ferd. all motors are the same I think. I just hate flathead v'8 so you will never see me running one of them. I like oldsmobile for some reason and I think this setup will work out cool and cheap and most of all fun. and yes pipes are my favorite i like shotgun style shit and they will be long.
