These pics were taken by my pal Saturday night at Altamont Speedway in Tracy, California (50 miles east of San Francisco).
The Pumpkin Smash is a Halloween-themed 400 lap Enduro full of carnage, smoke, and dirt on a wet oval track.
All rear wheel drive full size cars going full on-
It was blast!

how many cars started and I noticed that on one photo the cars were turning right.What do the do run half way left and the last right. They are fun I saw 115 cars start on a 1/4 mile in Highlandrim Tenn, 160 on a 1/2 mile 5 flags in Penacola Fla

They do 200 laps, have a destruction derby half time show,and then do 200 laps the other direction- Wears the cars out evenly!!
