My 348 is back

Well my 348 block is back from getting hot tanked, i was starting to miss it haha. Here's a pic and I guess you could call it a progress report of my 29 model A sedan.

Thats cool, but they should have pulled the soft plugs before it got tanked.

Mine should fire next weekend.

The plans for the motor is to bore it .040 for a set of JAHNS 10.5:1 cr pistons I got from SWDOBBS. Heads out of a '59 passenger car. and a 3x2 set up. I'm starting to feel that this motor may have been hot rodded a lil because i noticed that the deck was shaved.
Also i've got ot order me some gibbs for that rusty bastard.

Yeah Johnny Tman is correct- IF they're STILL THERE-and if you will drive out the soft plugs [at each side of the Cam journals]- you will be suprised to find about 3 teaspoons of grit and sludge EVEN AFTER TWO HOT TANK sessions.
It will stay there [in between the last lifter bores and plugs] at each end of block.
