Well the Chrome Czars really pulled it off this year. I would say at least 600 cars showed up.

Heres just a few pictures. Thanks guys for the hard work in putting this show together.

Cool pics Brett, that Hemi coupe rules, and I see your sedan sitting right behind it, glad to see you got it there for the show.

Man, I'm bummed that I couldn't go. As soon as I hear what the dates are for next year I'll hold that weekend open for next year.
Thanks for the pics, looks like a great show.

It was a great show, we had a blast. If you ask the people at the Holiday Inn we had a little too much fun.Murry just "lit" up the parking lot so people could find thier keys . http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was a great show, such a relief to get away from the points matching, judging, trophy bullshit. Seems like everyone was smiling the whole day and there were like three generations of people all there at once having fun. What other hobby could that happen in? Thanks for posting the great pic of our little Duece.

With the flames Murray was shooting at midnight you could find your keys, your beer, your girlfriend in the back of your buddy's car - you name it!

Best flame of the night was cruzing past Fools bar on the right and Murray lights em up. As we looked to the left we saw the Grundy County Sheriffs station! I guess they enjoyed the show as well.

I expect that blue one to start telling me about Chevron every time I see the front of it. Great cars there guys. Looks like a great event.

Is "that blue one" a cut down Beetle or what? It's certainly odd looking... but cool.

I waited around to try to talk to the owner but never saw anyone by the car. I didn't see any evidence of a VW doner but I'm no expert. Roadstar says it was handbuilt. Whatever, it was my favorite ride there.

Great photos, thanks for sharing!

my first pile up, it was great!

Not sure how I was to react though when I cruised up on my sport bike and only other things around were old choppers/harleys http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It appeared to be a home made log for teh 8 x 2 setup. One wicked setup in person!

Isn't the nose of the blue one from a bug eyed sprite?

it looks more like a cut down early Triumph TR4 or something rather than a VW
