HI, guys have been following your message board for a while but this is my first post. I need your help. I have gotten to the point where I have my frame all tacked together and now working on locating body mounts, motor mounts, etc. The problem I've run into is when I get the fenders, running boards, splash aprons all in place the front fenders will not lay flat on the frame. Did ol'Henry use wooden blocks under these too? or have I got something screwed up?? I'm going to try to send some pics-hope it works. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you guys have.

on the original cars for 26 and 27 there should be a flat lip at the inside edge of the fender about 18 inches long that sits flat on the top of the frame.... on top of this edge sits a pair of wood blocks that in turn sit inside a formed piece called a hood block... this piece is what the hood edge sits on... i'll try and rustle up some pics...
