We built a true 15 day bike, its a nice scooter, no bullshit ,no gimmicks, beat hank young in 1/8 mile strip in Barona 8.40 @85mph to his 10.20 63mph.

rode 500 miles and lost on crowds choice.

hank built a cruiser bike style ,chitty chitty bang bang and was very finished,plated,detailed, even had time for posters to be printed before show, very nice guy.

was really a hard thing to pull off,glad I stuck to my style and didnt do anything silly just to please the kiddy's.

show will air in january. supposed to get 100,000 dollar fine for showing picture. sorry

I haven't seen either bike but judging from what you do and what we've seen from Hank it sounds like a good show. I like Hanks attitude and I like that he at least appreciates the style of "tradtion".

Instead of a showdown between two guys building psuedo-chopper smoothies it sounds like they picked two guys who aren't affraid to leave some of the ugly* stuff on the bike...


* - not my word, but the word of most bike builders who are always trying to hide/smooth out their bikes.


January is a pretty boring month for me - it usually snows about a foot and is 10 degrees below zero, sounds like the perfect time for a good bike show......

how does this show work? they`ve just started a new series over here and the first one was hank young versus a japanese guy (chico i think)....hank young lost....how come he gets another go......by the way hank youngs got some great cars
