View Full Version : The rattling sounds from my car

Driving to work today, I get a new sound from my car. Something else must be loose. I usually get the windows rattling from inside the door when I hit a good bump, and the occasionly interior squeak. This was different-it sounded like some one had left something inside the door panel on the drivers side. I really only noticed it after a ggod size bump in the road, or sometimes just after braking and stopping.

Now, I'm heart set on getting home and checking it out. So, I put in my shift, get in the car, turn the radio off, so I can listen for the new rattle.....and nothing. Just the usual creaks, not the new one. Maybe I had a possum living in my door panel? Weird, man. Can't wait for tommorow to see(or hear) what happens next...........

Dude,

I hate that so much, i always think the whole front end is gonna rip of the front of the car. I get so stressed about it.

My theory is this - IF I SEE FLAMES I'LL STOP.

Otherwise i hold on tight and hope for the best

lol, it's doing it again today. It only happens during daylight, I guess.

probably the guy in the factory where it was built new left a soda can in there on his friday afternoon break.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it rattles now, sooner or later it'll break, then you can fix it.

Another way to look at is , you are always gonna be doing something to your car.

If its finished its no fun - well thats what i think, even though i dream of the day of it being finished and driving from LA - NYC listening to Black Sabbath real loud
