View Full Version : A newbie FAQ section on general knowledge?

I've been around a while on here and noticed that some people generally don't like it when a new guy asks a question about something that people who have been in this stuff for a while take for common knowledge...

I was thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to make a sticky somewhere for various newbie questions such as what axle to use under my model A? What spindles do I use? How do I put juice brakes on? What juice brakes fit? etc...

This will hopefully give the veterans a break from answering repetitive questions all the time, give a centralized location for the old school tech and maybe make it a little easier for the newb to blend in?.? I know this is common on other forums to have an area like that... Maybe a sticky in the tech section called "Newbie Tech"?

Thanks for listening...
Joe

You and I both realize that but a lot of these guys can't help but to ask. I figured a sticky on the Tech and Discussion forums with some of the common mods would maybe stop some of that, but again, you and I know they would still post.
