After market hot rod stuff. I'd guess Cal custom but don't quote me. I have a 2bbl one also. Are they for sale cheap? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That style (with the V8 cutouts on the side) was listed in the 1962 Almquist Catalog, though they did not specify the manufacturer. For 4 barrel carbs they cost $7.25 each, and you had to specify what car they went on so they must have made the offset pair you have for T-Birds. (The model for single or 2 barrels was $3.25). They do show a photo of a similar cleaner (with out the V8 cutouts) that is offset and they say it is for T-Birds and other cars with close together dual quads.

The ones I really covet are the ones like the right one in this picture except they have flat spots so that the two will nest together for the 2-4 carb spacing. I was going to try to make my own flat spots if I could find a match.

I found the V8 punched ring in the back ground. The guy thought it was a 57 Chevy piece.

Yeah I remember the Badger name now. I found a NOS pair of the flat sided ones in Charlotte but they were made for 2 bbls http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif He wanted too much for me to try and modify them. I'm sure he still owns them.
