I have used Rick Coddel (sp) at Metroplex Macine in Balch Springs for the machine work on a few blocks. He did me right. Watts Racing engines in Rockwall is another great place hes not cheap and don't get in a hurry but Watt is a super cool guy.
Whats the 347 going in? I live in Wylie so we are practicly neighbors.

I'm using Arlington Machine Shop for my machine work, not sure if they do entire rebuilds, that sounds like what you're asking. They seem to be doing me straight, held on to my first shitty block and heads for a month while I got a second engine. Nice guys. Recommended to me by OldCarPilot.

I second that. Nice people, went the extra mile for me and I'd never been there before.
