After reading a HAMB classified want ad for a tool box from monster garage I am just wondering who gets the cars or what happens to them? If this question has been asked and answered before I am sorry for not paying attention. Thank You.. Bobby

The producer of the show has a bunch of them in a warehouse in Long Beach... Not sure if kept them all, but a good percent of them are there...

One was given to a young man who was wheelchair bound. Some were used for part's. But what happened to the Chev custom that the oldtimer's put together?

I heard that Jesse James traded that chevy for some special Datsun that he'd been looking for. Something called a bee or super bee or something like that. I read it on the monster garage message board a while back Jesse posted it. I don't know that's just what I had heard. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

No it was definitely a Datsun of some kind. I remember thinking how stupid it was. It is called a Honey Bee.

You gotta bee shitting me? Those were a crappy little self destucting pos that had with absolutely no redeeming qualitys what so ever.
I have seen the back room/warehouse on the show as they were over there robbing parts once. Most of the normal sized cars from previous builds were setting in there.

no way. For one thing, hes got the money to buy anything, no need to trade. Ive read that he likes those datsuns, but hes got more sence than that. And besides I think he already has one...? seems like I heard about it or something.
And besides, I just dont wanny think that anyone would do that trade http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

They had some of them at either the Autorama this year or last, or the Detroit Auto Show this year or last...I cant remember which one or what year!. There were like 4 of them or so? Not much to look at up close, that's for sure. But who am I to complain? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

They were at last years Detroit Auto Show, on the lower level. The same location as the "traditional hot rods" will be during the Detroit Autorama this year.

He kept the Chevy. He had to battle for it though. The producer wanted for himself, even though he knew nothing about the guys who built it. Jesse said alright " I quit" then something went down and he got it. He did however get a Datsun Bee as well. I think I saw a post somewhere where choperdave was looking for one, my guess would be for his boss.. Speaking of the "old school build" He is supossed to be doing an "old school" Bike build here soon.. wonder what that will be like. Better have spokes, and skinny tires.

Besides the chevy, hearse and wheelie ambulance, why would anyone want a Ford Explorer garbage truck, or an F-150 nut shaker? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't think of a better marketing tool if you owned a garbage company then to have the Monster Garage's "Garbage Truck" to promote your business or if you had a nut or fruit tree farm, for the shaker truck.
The local garbage collection company here in town has a vintage garbage truck that they take to car shows and local events and a cement company owns and displays a vintage cement truck. Both are street driven and a crowd pleaser, especially for the kids.

I lost my virginity in one of those datsun Super Bee 210 cars. Seats fold flat on to the back seat. I can understand his interest in these fine automobiles. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've heard he's been hunting one down for awhile now too. He missed one on Egay by a few hundred bucks and was pissed (what I read on the message board over @ discovery)
I was looking for more in depth pics of the kustom chevy when I came across that discussion
Does anyone have any other pics (besides the few on the site) of the chevy?

Thats funny, I'm friends with about 4 Datsun freaks. Liking 71-73 510s are my guilty pleasure, but I would never buy one.

I want those two 800 Polaris motors out of the BMW mini cooper snowmobile. Put them together in a modified. Not much tweaking to crank out a couple hundred ponys each at about 100 pounds per.

Peel Trident (http://www.microcarmuseum.com/tour/peel-trident.html)
If you go here (http://www.microcarmuseum.com/virtualtour.html) you can take the online tour of the museum... there's some amazingly cool stuff there and during Amerivespa, the had a few of the cars our driving around. The event was held in tandem with the microcar national meet and when we did the group ride there was about 100 scooters and microcars going down the twisty scenic Georgia roads together. The funny part was that the scooter folks were passing the microcars since many of them topped out at about 35...
