The other night I cut the slave arm off of my 32 brake pedal, after it was all lined up and centered to the master cylinder I tacked it on the bottom side of the pedal to interact with the master cyl as described in the good book. Before I have it tig welded together by a pro, how does it look? I plan to pull it back apart and heavily chamfer the stub before reconnecting it. I set the actaul pedal pads so that they be at 90 deg. is that correct? Lastly who supplies bushings for the pedals and my steering box? Thanks...

This is where I set the pedal, after looking at the pedal position in several other cars with ford pedals... Look O.K?

Dude, that looks great, you can get the bushings at the Early V8 shop in West Covena, Cal. 1-626-338-2282 or www.earlyv8garage.qog.com (http://www.earlyv8garage.qog.com) Good luck Man--TV http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

this may or may not help, but i couldnt find brake pedal bushes anywhere down here, I replaced the king pin bushes on a mates roadster and i just noticed they looked about the same OD as the brake bushes...and they were! the brake bushes are much thinner though, no probs, just reamed them out with the kingpin reamer.
recycling at its best!
the pedals were 36, but im guessing they are the same shaft dia. as yours.
