Fred's truck was a 52 deluxe cab F1...
The truck he almost bought was a 68-72 Chevy from some seedy used car salesman...I think it was red or orange...if memory serves.

The episode where Fred is on the phone is the one where he thought the new guy he hired stole the truck...and he did call it a "52 Ford".
