i've got one that's not un-molested, it has a 350/400 in it not by choice but by pure economics. it's pretty close to if u wanted to run the motor/trans in it now. i came here looking for help getting it on the road (see posting n-e 1 help w/50 ford in sac, ca) but have since met up w/a 62 impala that i'd love to through a lace roof on drive the sh*t out of..

nah, it was pretty much a rolling shell when i got for 250.00. it was the 1st time i handled a sawzall and i learned to weld on that car. luckly there some friends there to help me out (like when i shrank some metal http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif and to lead me in the right direction) the air bags for the rear, c'ing the frame and tunneling the floor was set up by some friends. i pirated all the 1/2 od lines and fitting from a maint bus yard i worked at, as well as the viynle for the interior and the guy that repaired bus seats helped me sew the interior together. the motor and trans came from a friend that has a connection to an tow company and the motor was a runner and i just to pull it and give my friend a hand taking the rear end out fro his '49 chebby. how's life out in n.j
