Sellers in the classifieds whom do not answer the PM's even after we are told to send a PM only and then the next day bump their ad......is it rude? Feedback would be great and I am not trying to be an ass, unless you want me to.:D

Yea it's rude but maybe they missed the blinking envelope.

On the other hand, if you continue to get stiffed - let me know and I'll send them a PM about answering their PM's.
If they then BTTT their ad without answering me then I may close their ad and maybe that will get their attention.

BUT......I DO NOT have time to get in between any PM stuff - so don't cry wolf or my magic powers will fall hard and heavy for those who cry wolf.
Another thing - I see ads all the time where the guy puts his phone number to call him and guys still complain that he won't answer his PM's.
FOR MY SAKE AND YOUR SAKE - read ALL of the sellers ad and any special instructions the seller may have to contact him.

While as Moderators we can't force anyone to do anything, but.... if we set up the system so that we require for you to send/recieve PM's and guys choose to ignore it, then I may close their ad.

Last thing - REMEMBER some guys log on everyday/some once a week/some once a month and so on so be patient when you send a PM.

Thanks,

Is there a way on the senders side to know if your pm has been read?

Yes,

When filling out your Private Message, look down towards the bottom of the page for this box...

542445

Click the "Request a read receipt for this message" and send it. The thing is, I'm pretty sure recipients can opt not to send the read receipt. Except for when the Pm comes from a Moderator. Send me a PM and I'll see if I get an option to send a receipt or not.

I tried to PM you back to let you know what happened when we tried this, but your pm box kept showing full.

Anyway, there was no alert on my end showing that you had read the message. Thanks for trying.
