Fat Hack

So, being that yesterday was officially "Fat Hack Bueler's Day Off", I naturally went to spend it with DirtyT...just KNOWING that something fun and interesting would happen!
(Never expected the goofy little drunk to set me on FIRE, but it was all in fun! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif)
Anyhow...it warmed up enough be early afternoon that we decided to go explore a junkyard over on his side of town just for kicks. The dry spell of late meant that there'd be little chance of sloshing through mud to see what's what...and the cold night prior kept the bees dormant for the most part. Perfect browsing weather!
(No, I didn't think to bring a camera...and neither did Bozo! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif)
Randomly strewn about amidst late model wrecks, were very cool treasures such as a mangled Buick something "You think EVERYTHING is a Riviera!" sporting at least ONE accessable aluminum drum! Also, a clean Duster body for guys like RocketJ2...and much to my total surprise...a COMPLETE and VERY restorable 63 and a half two door fastback Galaxie 500 with an FE motor in it...just sitting there BEGGING to be towed home!
Found lots of other smaller goodies, and we'll deffinately have to plan a return trip there sometime before the snow flies to see what we can bag!
Of course, after we left the junkyard, we went wandering till we ended up at Roadstar's shop. I don't think I'm supposed to talk about what we ended up doing there...but it's never a dull moment a few HAMBers get together for a little impromptu action...even if it involves a rescue mission of sorts!!! Thanks for yet ANOTHER fun visit to your place, Rudy!
From there, as you may well have guessed, we roamed on over to my favorite bar on the Fraser/Roseville border for several rounds of beer and some food as I took Dirty to school on the pool table....NOBODY can play against a senseless Fat Hack Onslaught!!! Ha Ha ha!!
Later in the evening, as we hurried back to Dirty's run down shack to meet his no-show girlfriend...the night wound down with more beer drinking as I looked over the Chuck Norris Special...and agreed that I really DID need to own it!
(Warning: When making deals with DirtyT involving car purchases...stand FAR away from him...if the haggling doesn't go EXACTLY the way HE wants it to...he'll whip out carb cleaner and a lighter and set you on FIRE!!!!)
Did I REALLY spill the beans about the jumbo do-rag wearin' bowling alley chick at RocketJ2's party?
Can't remember!
The night finalized when we went up to a Romeo bar...but they wouldn't serve little Babyface a beer...so we went back to his place while he oddly enough played the Voice Of Reason as I rambled on about how cool it would have been to "borrow" a cop car!!!
"We could...like pull people over and strip search the chicks!"
"No we couldn't!"
"Yeah! We'd just say we were undercover detectives or something!"
"In a MARKED police car?! That kinda blows the whole plain clothes angle, doesn't it?!"
"Well, maybe the Torino was in the shop...we'd still look like cops!"
"No we wouldn't! We'd look like two dudes who just stole a cop car on our way to jail!"
"Ahhh, maybe you're right...."
Made it home minus any criminal activity...stopped at White Castle to pack in a few sliders...then went to bed thinking about how cool a drag styled 63 fastback Galaxie would look parked in the driveway...
