39 std f. fen on 39dlx front end

Does anyone have any experience with the ability to change out 39 standard front fenders with the same year deluxe model. Simply put, can I put standard fenders on the deluxe by simply bolting up?

Simply put back at ya----NO, the cowl area is different.
