Buicks38's Roadster Update - PICS !!!

jerry's roadster is coming along. the radiator is in, coolant, tonight we cut and installed the radiator support rods. he finished up the wiring tonight too. still to be done is get the glass installed in the windshield frame, mount the seat. i'm sure there's lots of odds and ends to do but i can't think of anything else major that needs to be done. i'm sure you turkeys will spot something right away in one of these pics though! it's getting there jerry, keep it up! later, mike

Looks like that one is just about ready for the road. Better hurry, winter is coming and you don't want to wait for spring for that first ride.

It's really lookin good Jerry.
Keep pushin like you guys have been and you'll be on the road before winter, but make sure you take next Saturday off and cruise down here in the Buick for Paul's meet!!

Thanks Guys for the kind words and thank you Mike for posting the pics. I'm going back out there tonight to put in new headlights and fill the radiator. and a few other odd and ends. I realy need to clean the tools and extra wire out of it and on it so i can go for a ride. Well better get my ass out there. Thanks again all. Jerry

Well guys i got the front dirc. lights working and the headlights changed, the shifter back in and the car cleaned out. If i have time before the week end i will get it out of the garage and take some pics. Jerry

hey jay, i forget where he picked up that radiator. he salvaged the top and bottom tanks from it and had a new 4 core radiator fab'd i think. if jerry see's this post again i'm sure he will tell you more about it. so how you doing out there man? it's nice to see your still on here so we can keep in touch, later, mike

Jerry i see you said you repaired the headlites! does that mean you went down to AZ & spent the $7 for 2 new one??Got rid of the 6V ones??
They were bright!!lol

Jim where the hell you been buying your lights? AZ get $15.00 each. Went to Benny's they had them there for $10.00 each. But they work a lot better than the 6 volt bulbs. I did blow one of the 6 volters up. Next time you can get two bulbs for $7.00 get me a few to . Jerry

Jay, I think it might be 36. Thats what the guy I bought it from said but i'm not sure. I did have to get it cut down 3" and have it record. I bought it at a swap for the tanks.
