This looks like the place I need to be. I'm afraid that antique U.S. motorcycles are all that I know. Other than a passion for anything Flathead. Preference is old Ford V-8's. I rode my '59 Harley down to the annual Smokeout-East, back in the Summer. 125 miles from my home. Discovered more than I could have dreamed. Rat Rods, as they called them. But, old hot rods with no finish, some with no paint. Built to the hilt, with the finest in old technology. I spent more time on these old cars, than I did looking at bikes, which is my comfort zone (old, that is). And, the theme was Rockabilly, with a fine band playing under a huge tent. Straight 8's. Thinking about finally getting around to building a fine old rod as a daily rider.
Anyway, don't think too hard of me, for my old bike following. Wish had taken the opportunity in the past to build old rods, like I did old bikes. Hope it's not too late.
