hello all, joined up a little while back and thought i would introduce myself.have been into australian and american cars for many years now.purchased my first US car which was a 1956 pontiac about 25 years ago and it all went from there.this started my liking for pontiacs and have had many since.purchased an original 1964 pontiac parisienne convertible about 21 years ago and still have that one.been under resto/mild custom for the last seven or so years.keep getting distracted with other cars.
have had many chevs, dodges and fords over the years and can say i definitely am not a one marque person.just seem to like lots of different cars from different brands.
i own a falcon/mustang parts supply business here in ADELAIDE,SOUTH AUSTRALIA called FISHOP FALCONS.have been trading for around 15 years now specialising in 1960-70 australian falcons and 1964-73 mustang parts.
this has obviously given me a huge liking for early model falcons.1960-66 being my preference.
my cars -
I have a 1965 falcon wagon and a 1965 falcon delivery as shop trucks/everyday runarounds.
A 1931 model A roadster.purchased that one as it is because i have no time at the moment to scratch let alone build a rod.(photo on my avatar). 307,powerglide,customline diff etc built in a 50's trad style.this rod has a bit of history here tracing it back to at least the late sixties in various styles since.in time i hope to tidy it up and put my touches on it but for now just enjoy driving it.
The 1964 pontiac i mentioned earlier which is under resto.
A 1957 mercury turnpike cruiser 4 door hardtop which should be on the road hopefully in the next month or so.quite standard with cruiser skirts and continental kit.slightly lowered with glasspacks.needs a few bits but shouldnt take too long.purchased that one in LA november 07 when i was over there.
And a 1959 edsel corsair convertible.i have really got into edsels in a big way over the last few years.i had a 1959 ranger 4 door hardtop but that made way when the convert came along.
I am a member of the CHERRY BOMBERS here in adelaide,SOUTH AUSTRALIA.

oh well, thats me pretty much.all in all i am really into rods and customs from the 40's to the 60's era and nice clean cruisers of the 50's and 60's.i hope to see some neat stuff on the HAMB and hopefully pick up some good ideas and knowledge along the way.
thanks.
