Some friends told me about this site and I love it. I'm into early muscle cars and anything traditional. Current project is a '65 Fairlane Sports Coupe that we've had in the family since the early 80's. Looking forward to meeting some new people here and gaining a lot of information.
Thanks,
JW

Welcome from the frozen north,Canada, does the Fairlane have a 289-4 speed, buckets and consol? A friend had one, paint was Red with Red interior.

It does have the 289 4 speed, console and buckets. It is black with a white interior. I don't see too many. I think every that year that wanted a four speed a buckets bought a Mustang.

Welcome from a Michigan neighbor. That Fairlane sounds like it could be pretty rare. Good luck with it!

Thanks Lee. We go to a lot of regional shows and some of the Goody Guys nationals, I have not seen one that is like mine so far. I know they exist, but not around here. I do see some Sport Coupes from time to time, but none with the 4-speed and all of that. I'll try to post some pictures soon.

Welcome from Southern Indiana.....One of my buddies in college had a new 64 like yours, with the exception of Dark Blue exterior....I really liked it but I barely had enough $$$ to go there much less have a dream rod like that....Praise the Lord I was able to move up a bit in the scheme of things and now live in a hot rod world.....I hope you enjoy the HAMB as much as I do....CJ.
