Classifieds idea

It would be neat if you could some how have a search or subform where you could look at classifieds in your area such as midwest,west coast etc. Just an idea.:p

i agree with KNGSZE, i would love to see a way to seach by location, not just for the classifieds but the whole forum. it would be nice to find people selling items near me or events going on in my area.

like ryan likes to say, this isn't a classified site. you want something bad enough, you have to work for it. it takes time sometimes. you might have to go out of your way to get it. sure it would be nice if when we go to swap meets, all we had to do was pull into the parking lot and all the sellers would parade their items past us. but not all the late model crap. why waste our time looking through stuff that we can't use, or costs too much, or greasy, rusty, icky...
ryan has worked his ass off making this the best site for us kind of folks. why can't we enjoy it for what it is and be a little less demanding.

This subject has been discussed before and the classifieds are working very well as is and fair to say that they won't be changing any time soon.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

The way I look at it is - it makes you look at all the ads and ya never know that the next ad will have that treasure you have been looking for for a long time.

With the exception of cars - anything else that can be shipped by UPS / Fed Ex/ USPS is pretty cheap.

How about a "For trade" section? With the economy going the way it is, it might be time to hold onto the money and trade for what we may need. Maybe more like a "Willing to trade" section.

Trades are located in the "Wanted " section ( as in wanting to trade)

When anyone puts a ad in the for sale section and puts for trade and does not include a price, then it automatically gets moved to the wanted section.
