Just a quick one to say hello & introduce my latest project that I picked up on the weekend. I've been collecting parts for a drag car ever since I moved to town about 5 years ago.
Prior to that I've lived in on farms, so all my gearhead related activity has been of the off-road type - jeeps, F-Trucks etc. When I was a kid I was very lucky to have been able to play around with couple of Y-block F700's, a 64 Falcon coupe (dad swapped a pig for it) and my Windsor powered jeep which I still have.
Current project is a '62 Falcon ute. It'll be Cleveland powered, with a tunnel ram, 48 Merc straight axle, toploader & 9 inch. I've managed to get Fenton Super Sharks (rare birds down here) for the rear & Cragars as front runners. I've included a pic of the 'before'. Just have to put it all together now - easy (yeah right!)
Anyway, thanks to those blokes whos posts I have read, they've really been A1.
