32 Ford Cowl Vent hinge assembly?

I need some info on 32 cowl vent hinges.

I need one for my 32 p/u project.

Are car and p/u the same? Are 33-34 p/u the same?

My brother found a piece of a 32 car cowl with the hinge attached, I just don't know what it is worth.

Are they available new?

I believe all answers are "yes". I can check most variants at home if necessary...
And with Brookville out there, everything is available new.

Hey Nealin brookville repops the whole deal for about 150.00 I think. I have all the pieces for my coupe and they could be made by had real easy considering what you started with. If you need photos of what I got let me know and I will try to get some to you.

there is like 2-3 differnt vents but the hole is the same for 32 and 32-34 pick-ups...good luck.. brookvill offers a complete assy ...its nice..

Do the different style vents use different hinges? I have a lid and the opening in my cab is good, so all I need is a hinge that will work with my existing door? Does Brookeville sell the hinge separate?

I don't know if Brookville sells the hinge separately or not but Mac's does.

[/ QUOTE ] i got my hinge from speedway it was a vintique kit i got the ratchet ,spring and hinge....however... it didnt work properly and had to modify it dont really know what the differances are... could have even been a vintique mistake...

i would look at a brookville vent when you get a chance and if it looks like yours id buy their hinge the couple of hinges i have are visually differnt , dont know if it was a early late thing ( you know... firewall, dash differances ) or a 33-34 truck thing???
