There ain't enuff choices on your poll there...
"Paint my 63 Bel air Flat Black or lime metalflake w/ white roof?"
Naaaw...paint the roof Lime Green with purple pearl flames, silver pearl lace and ghost scallops...
Paint the body the opposite...purple pearl with Lime Green flames...the red interior will look OK with the purple...
Now THAT would make that car stand out in a crowd!!! It needs a set of WWW's and 'caps...

What's wrong with it the way it sits? Just needs a set of hubcaps and replacement springs.

There's an early sixties Mopar color called Metallic Lilac or something like that (Very light purple with silver in it)
that looks wild on the sixties cars like your Chev. You are going to weld up the back doors and put a Carson top on it, aren't you? Just a thought.(White tuck and roll too)

That car needs lace panels on the roof.

It doesn't seem like you're taking the interior color into consideration...are you gonna get it re-done immediately? Lime green and white with a red interior isn't gonna look too hot. Why not try to work with the the existing color and get crazy with some panels and lace and candies and flakes and...you get the idea?

Acid? Where?-pulls out flyswatter http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Like a lot of the other guy's said...i wouldn't change the color.
The silver looks damn nice on it, and would make for a killer back ground for either something like the panel work shown, or even a candy red 'bass boat' flaked roof and some striping..

Thanks for the replies guys! that pic looks really cool!! But alas, I live in deadbeat Canada, and no one in my town could lace like that http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif i said flat black because I would spray it myself, which would be the cheapest.
The car is sitting on 3 69 Camaro rallys w/ no centercaps, and one donut (thats why it's sitting crooked) Other than that it's got airbags (hey I live on the EAST coast!!)
As for the interior, in it right now is a plain red vinyl interior, but I just parted out a 63 with 20 000 miles-- it has a triple mint green interior (therefore the lime candy) I haven't decided yet. I might want to sell it and get a 2door before i dump anymore money in it.
Thanks again,

Oh ya, I've got a set of original 60's Torque thrust "d" style wheels (14's) with nice sized meats for the back... I was thinking mount those then cruise with the ass end slammed.
That would be pretty gangster! Even for a 4 door I think.
Bahhh! too many ideas and no money http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
