'50 Chev P.U. trans.???

I'm pretty sure those guys are using S-10 5 speed transmissions.

Do a google for Patricks 6 cylinder or something like that.

saginaw 4 speed bolts right up.

a newer 3spd with o/d will fit.

On the 3/4 ton chevy long bed pickups there is a extension piece that bolts up to the ball joint on the gear box and converts it to open drive. I am in the process of fitting it to the wifes truck now.
