Hey, I am 29 years old and I have been around hot rods most all of my life i was bread into it through my father. He had me in the garage and at the drag strip since i have been old enough to hold a wrench. I have a 68 camaro that is just a old hot rod but I have just recently purchase a 49 ford F3 cab and I am planning on building a bobber out of it. I was hopping to find some thing a little older but i got this thing next to nothin so i couldn't turn it down. I am intending on it be a driver! I am planning on driving it nearly daily when done. How cool would this be as a daily driver!!! Unless wether looks like rain since it is going to be a open motor and no fenders. Anyway i just wanted to say hi

Greetings from Athens.

What are your plans as far as engine/transmission for the F-3? My dad and I built a '50 F1 a couple of years ago... I will be posting it in the For Sale section eventually.

Hell I've been caught in more rain than I care to think about and never had a problem with my truck. Even a couple storms that we swear had tornados in. Build em and drive em thats what there for! But welcome anyways from Iowa!
