we had our last local cruise night of the season tonight at the mcdonalds in cumberland, rhode island. the weather was pretty nice, at least until the sun went down and it got a little cool. Leadsledmerc - keith made the trip up from rochester, massachusetts, about an hour's drive and his midget 33 pickup was the hit of the night, as i thought it would be and should be. hey keith, thanks again for making the trip and staying for the duration. hope you had a good time and a safe trip home. here's a couple pics early in the evening before it got too dark, later! mike

Yo Mike, sorry I didn't get the message earlier, I could have taken the truck to work and left from there to meet up with you guys. Better than belt sanding Volkswagon plaques:)

See you Sunday at Hammonasset?

Hey Mike,
I'd hoped tp make a "stealth" appearance, but I got caught with the top down on Thursday night when that line of showers came thru. The roadster seats were still wet and I didn't feel like sitting on a sponge two nights in a row.

Are you coming to "The Gathering of the Faithful" in Marion October 16th? That's a Saturday and it's a pretty cool little show.

hey dennis, no sweat man, i know it was really last minute, hope we can hook up somewhere else. where is that show you mentioned?

and paul, too bad about the soggy seat, but i don't blame you. where is marion? i'm not sure what i'm going to be doing yet, i just came down with a killer cold yesterday, it kicked my ass last night. i'm suppose to go to the truck nationals up at new england dragway early in the morning with mike in the kenworth and i'm on vacation starting next friday for a for a visit from my sister and her husband for about 10 days, we're taking them to new york city for a couple nights too. i am hoping to make it down to the rochester cruise night at towne pizza before that ends too. hope to see you soon buddy, mike

Mike, Marion is next to Rochester. Same exit off of Rt 195. It's not for two more weeks, so your cold should be history.
Hope to see you there.
Check out the post I added about the show from a flier I got in the mail.

I was great seein all you guys last night and meeting some new people. I had a great time. Looks like I will defenitaly have to come back next year. Your only 45 minutes away and 495 isn't a bad ride.

Now to get to the later posts.......You guys kill me!
Wet seats, killer colds, relatives.
Put a garbage bag on the seat, get some meds, bring the relatives along. Winter is coming and there be plenty of time to stay home. So get your asses down here!!

It sounds like Jim already made up his mind to take the ride. Paul & Jim, I'll see you there! Mike, Jerry?????

The cruises around here are coming to an end real fast, the last Rochester cruise is this coming monday.

Here's a couple of pics from last night.
Keith

Hey Jerry,
If you have a trailer, bring your roadster to the "gathering" on the 16th. "in-progress" cars are more than welcome. There are are usually a few every year.
