Our boys deserve better. I agree with the no politics deal here and enforce it on the Jockey Journal. In light of the sentiment the last few years, we need to change our policy on the boards.

why is support for our troops considered political? or did the post state the we
should "pray" for our troops? Either way, these guys are fighting four our freedom

It ain't politics or religion go find the post on sears not covering tools thread that went on forever when it was only the blades in tape measures that are not covered.OK to piss and moan about sears then but when they do a stand up thing like support our troops when the law says the only need to hold their job place it gets deleated BULLSHIT!people don't like what I said don't read it or PM me and chew my ass but theres plenty of vets on here that just might want to know about this

Since you brought it up... we should pray for our troops and anyone else on here that ask for prayers... I saw the post and didn't see anything in that was considered political, just said something about supporting our troops... I support them and pray for them...

was it "support our troops"

or "shop at Sears"?

we all support our troops
but the HAMB is not free advertising for Sears

Ryan

Yeah... we typically don't support those kinds of emails...

As for the troops, I support them in all kinds of ways as some of the troops that frequent the HAMB can attest to.

I quite going to another board I hung out on becuase of all of the stupid post pulling over just about everything. Made me feel like a child that was not allowed to watch R-rated movies. Grownups can have conversations.

The key word here is "grownups"...which seem to be in all too short supply in America during this fine election year. ;)

Supporting troops is super cool, but the reality is this is a hot rod site. I can think of all kinds of cool things to post that have not nothing to do with hot rods and glad I don't have to read around them to find the hot rod stuff. There are plenty of sites dedicated to supporting the troops and if I want to do that, I can go check those out. That is the strength of the internet. Each site can be very focused and pure and the internet still has plenty of room for any other kind of site as well, but don't need to mix them all up.

With that said, I wish the troops and vets all the best and thanks. And thanks to Ryan and the other moderators for making this site a kick ass traditional hot rod site.
