Improved A

Hi everyone, a short intro from me to get the ball rolling. I feel a bit like a dog on it's back while the rest of the pack have a sniff!
I am your typical family guy that has reached a point in life where some of the dreams may be able to become reality. I have had an A model tudor in storage for ever and I have just started on a chassis build. I drive a 62 Falcon on the weekends to keep the interest alive and I have a sordid past involving many newer Fords with shop bought go-fast bits on them. I have dabbled a bit in drag racing, very briefly as a competitor and a lot longer as a scrutineer and I have a deep desire to eventually join the nostalgia racing crowd. What a breath of fresh air that has become for me! I have just started a night school course on how to panel beat and fabricate body panels and I'm loving it. The aim is to build a roadster ute from a bunch of 28 - 29 bits I have laying around and when I've cut my teeth on that lot, I'll dust off the tudor and build something a bit nicer.
Looking forward to catching up with a few people from the old Ravenswood days and some I haven't met yet.
Cheers!
