Hey everybody! I'm '57 Joe and I'm a new guy to the board. I've already got a few posts but I figure I'll introduce myself formally to everybody. I'm a member of the Hellcats out of central NJ and am a student @ the University of Delaware, and I love wrenchin', lead sleds and hot rods. My current ride is a '57 Ford Custom 300 with the typical kustom treatment, teal/white, running a 383 Chrylser mill and a Torqueflight. I've been to the Road Agents Rumble, Lead East and other northeast shows with it. I'll be on the board often as to further distract me from my studies.

nice ride, I had a custom 300 back in 64 it was the F-series 312 with the factoy supercharger rated at 300 horse. but I'll bet that 383 would have kicked my ass. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
My brother had another 300 in 59 it was shaved and had the required 40 coats of hand rubber candy blue lacquer. he had a fairlne 500 rear bumper that really change the back and no one ever figured the difference http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Man, I love the power train/car combo you've got. I used to have a 383 mag and torqueflite and it is a solid and quite powerful set up.
Welcome to the HAMB.
And on a separate note, present company excluded, did someone leave the garage door open? Or is it that when we bust one guys balls it just encourages more newbies in those couple of days? LOL http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Have fun,

Saw the name and thought... "This should be interesting.." imagining some kind of weird farm implement or something.
Glad to see you've done both marques prowd. I had the pleasure of looking after a mate's '68 Dodge Phoenix with a 383 and six-pack. That big ol' boat still went pretty good, but didn't half as cool as your '57.
Nice ride, nice intro. Welcome. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
