Anyone ever hear anything bad about the Alumabeam axle?

... besides the outrageous price, that is... anyone hear of anything physically bad, or any problems/failures of the Pete/Jake Alumabeam?

I guess it's called the "Alum-I-beam" and it's made by Super Bell. I'd like to put one in my '40 gasser, if I can get around the width issues and if it will hold up to a few wheelies... yeah, right... but, they sure do talk it up, and it's LIIIIGHT

Good ride quaility and durability is the word. Jeff from KC has one under his 32 roadster, it was a test mule for Superbell. Look at the HAMBdrags pics, his is flat black with a 5 on it.
