I own a scrap yard
and play with my cars as time permits. Some neat deals show up once in a whole. this afternoon the phone rings and its one of the little old ladies in town.she introduces herself and reminds me I sold her son a chevy dually with a CADILLAC years ago. The crap continues and she says I want to give you a cadillac so you can put one of those motors in that 'hot rod' lincoln convertible. I agree to take the car and use the motor. Well,it's a '97 seville with a northstar. 30k on the clock but one of the hurricanes screwed the a/c,and everything inside.I know this board is traditional, but that engine would look great in the '48 even if it was sideways. Has anyone everused one of these engines in a rwd configuration or used the unibody undercarriage under a older car? My "wusty wagtop" is a POS but I can save it. Is this the way to go or I brake a little old ladies heart?Let's hear the good, bad and sensible.
