Hello Fellow car guys, especially Mercs

Hello Guys and gals.
I was just introduced to this site tonight by a friend of mine, Anthony White. I have one thing to say.THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! Thanks Ant.
A little about myself. I have owned my 50 Merc for 17 years and it is truly a labor of love. With my bout with cancer at 25, my merc was still in primer and I used to go sit in it in the garage and think how I was going to someday get this baby painted. It truly helped me focus on my treatments. This car is a part of me now.
I have enclosed a few pictures of the car from when I purchased it to how it looks now. I will add more as I scan them in.
Well just wanted to introduce myself. I look forward to speaking to lots of you as time goes on. Stay well

Glad your posting Frank.For all the Jersey guys thart read this,Franks car was started by some sll time greats and he went through hell and back to get it to the point its at now!This car was started by a founding member of the Kustom Jnights named Larry Polyanic who at one time worked for Les Dunham in Boonton.The chop was done by the great Kelsey Martin of Mass who also chopped Jack Di Matties well known merc as well as Sonny Venutis ant crusher....and in comes Frank who added a boatload of other custom touches like the flush skirts and the killer 54 Merc wheelwells.

Nice car, mine is a '51 and the exterior is getting totally redone this year, and next year I will redo the interior.
