They are always the last full weekend in September. Let me know if you want I can get some hotel numbers, and try and get some reg info.
Last I heard was over 3000 reg cars at Ducktail and 2400 at James Dean. Would have some more pix but I late getting there on Sat my car broke down http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif.

Thanks Ron for your help. I'm looking for new events next year to attend
and this is one that is on my list so if you could get me some names of hotels
& Registration info I would appreciate it. I know the two shows are close by,
so do you enter both of them or just the Ducktail?
Happy Trails,
Mick

I do both and drive back and forth. A lot of people do both but some just do Gas City and some just do Fairmount. I will get some numbers and email or pm you.
