2008 is winding down and January will be here before we know it. My work place requires us to schedule all time off/leave for the entire year by the end of January. Becuase of this, I was unable to attend several events becuase I couldn't get the time off. RATS!!! I'm sure their are plenty of other HAMBers that have this same problem.

How about having one central clearing house kind of a thread where everyone can pile on all their 2009 events well in advance? It would sure help me out. Plus, folks hosting an event would likely have better attendance because of extra advance notice.

I refuse to miss Hot Rod Cinematic & Billetproof Detroit this year!!!

I feel like a dummy. That's a facet of the HAMB I haven't seen before. Thanks 32FLATHEAD.

Ditto on the not wantin' to act like a dummy (despite what my other half sez:) !), but I hadn't seen the calendar before either. I'll be sure to check it before scheduling any vacation.

But did I miss it, or hasn't the '09 Detroit Billetproof date been announced yet? I seen it mentioned but haven't seen the date yet. I made the '08 show - it was great. My ride should be done by spring & I don't want to miss the next one.

Hopefully this thread will prompt others to start adding to the calander. I checked it a few days back and it was still relatively empty. I'm still looking forward to some info about the Hot Rod Cinematic. As I recall, they had some difficulties last year...I hope that doesn't mean they won't host that event any longer.

Ryan, or anyone else involved in the Cinematic, I live in Ohio & would be willing to volunteer to get it going.

I guess I should add....I don't know anything, but I'm a willing helper and I've got a pick-up truck...does that qualify for anything?

Same goes for me if/when the billetproof show is scheduled for Davisburg (Detroit), got a pickup & trailer, but very limited time (depends on when it is), & only 20 or so miles from D'burg. Will lend a hand for half a day or so if I can but need the date tho', next summer schedule is filling up already!

RACERON1120 - Searching around on GOOGLE, I found that Billetproof has a website -WWW.BILLETPROOF.COM - It sez that June 6th, 2009 is the upcoming date. Maybe I'll bump into you there. After seeing all the horror stories associated with the Woodward Dream Cruise, I've decided to go to Billetproof Detroit enstead.

oh yeah, thanks! last time I checked their website it still had the '08 sched. I will be there.
Nix on the "nightmare on woodward"! Haven't been to it since '01 or so. The Helluva Cruise outta (duh) Hell is pretty good, I think it's usually the weekend after woodward. A nice route from Hell to Pinckney or so and lots more laidback.
