my son and i found a '55 pontiac chieftain 4dr in a barn. everything on it is original except for the alternator. we just ordered a gasket set because it does have one blown head gasket...other than a ten year old cheapass mako paint over, this old girl looks like a ten year old car as far as condition. we are thinking clean her up get the brakes rebuilt and drive her to sonic....too nice a car to hotrod and somebody is gonna wanna restore this sweetheart. barn finds are so cool when you find one like this. we will post pictures as work progresses.
