Fall of 1969 was my first time at Hershey, and it is as clear to me now as it was then. Stone stock, restored race cars, Hot Rods, I like a lot of different cars. If you need a spot to rest and get out of the sun please stop by and say hello at my flea market spot C4J-41-42, (at the end of Main Street). This is in the Chocolate field right behind the Brookville Roadster semi. Kind of neat having a larger than life '32 roadster as a backdrop to my "collectable" parts. I'll setup a HAMB bulletin board, you are welcome to leave parts and pick them up at the end of the day, might even have an extra wagon to lend out. Look forward to putting a face on some HAMB ID's! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm only going for one day, so hopefully I'll end up running into you. The place is too big to assume that we'll cross paths in a day.

Tagman, One of my Hershey traditions is to "tile" the floor of one of my spaces with license plates. Started the year I had the drop tank there.

I'll be there Wednesday - Saturday. The last time I missed was in 1986 because it conflicted with my wedding. Looking at old parts while smelling chocolate all day is a great combination. Anyone checking out the show cars on Saturday can stop by and say hello. I'll most likely be the only '40 Ford Standard Fordor with a "Don't Judge" stamp on the windshield sign.

Hell, I've talked with you several times in the past, looking for NY plates for my collection - that's where the "TagMan" name comes from. At one time I had over 3000 license plates in inventory and was selling the extras through Hemmings, etc to finance my car addiction. I sold off everything but my collection this spring.
I'll look you up for sure. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Small world we were talking about Butch Kenny this morning over coffee and Hershey plans! Whatever happened to that 54? Chevy he had with the nudes painted all over it? Real Southern California classic!

In the spring of 2004 I took some photos of a 50 foot tall barn in New York state that was shingled in unissued New York plates. Oldest ones were 1929, and they were shingled in chronological order! Looked like the owner went to the DMV at the end of the year ans stocked up on free "shingles". They were rusted beyond saving, and the barn was demoed, I look for the photos.

If you are in the White field, look for me at WCM6 with the Dodge Brothers club. It rained over 3 inches yesterday, fields are really wet after the flood last week. I would recommend day parking on the hill behind the White field in front of Milton Hershey school. The low fields are going to be bad news.

Good idea to stay away from parking in the old Yellow field!
Gee Bob, I've know Butch and Joyce since the Rhode Island Vintage Wheels Run in '74 and I don't remember that car. I'll have to ask him this weekend at the Hammonassit (sp?) Charity Run.
I'm going to print this out so I remember were you all are http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
If I can get away I'll stop by and see some of you.
I'll be at WCL 1 and 2 White Field Right across from the old
Wood Roller Coaster in the Woodgraining Tent. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
After 3 dam Hurricanes in 6 weeks I ain't afraid
