Flt-Blk had just started this in the special Drags section but I think it should be on the main board so no one misses it causeing further embarassment for the losers.
In the last 2 years its been one win one loss for the wagon.
This has to be settled this year.
I'm looking for a primered Hudson to be lagging behind this year. All I've done is correct last years problem.
I ain't SKEEEERED!

your car wouldn't pull a greasy string from a cats ass!
hows that for trash talkin'?
I would race you for pink slips but I had trouble selling the last pos chevy I won.
Well...I'm not going to do any trash talking.
It doesn't look like the axles for my new 9 inch are going to get here in time...so I'm probably going to explode the 10 bolt that's in the car now the first time I launch pretty hard.
I guess we'll see...It should be entertaining nonetheless. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Hell Bass, just start in the burnout area and get ya a good rolling start.
Or just leave your tires wet and make excuses about hook up problems because your motor is so bad ass now after you get your time slip.

Buzzard,
Im gonna stick with the 3x2 set up this year. HRH offered me a set up, but Im afraid I may jack something up making changes this late. Did the camel humps, Roothawg helped me pick a cam, fresh short block, installed a shift kit, swapped out the rearend gears, that's enough for this year. Next year I'll probably find a 2x4 set up and get some sticky tires. I think the Sandman's man to beat will be Moe. His modified is gonna scoot.
Doesn't sound like AntiC is gonna make it. Sure would be cool to see what his RPU would do!

I went 3.25. Sort of a compromise I can still make the 2.5 hour drive to te track with this set up. Even with the 3.25s and almost open header the motor is screamin on the highway.

Yeah...15 flat at the first drags with a slipping TH350. Ric got his '40 all the way down into the mid 13's last year.
I figured I would be in the mid-high 14's last year if I would have been able to make a pass. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I think I'm bringing a spare transmission and a spare pair or axles this year (just in case). http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I drove his shoebox at PnP and I swear I think he can run in the high 5's http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think he was running in the very low 15s...maybe high 14s. He was having trouble getting hooked up....I know for a fact his car is faster than the times would suggest.
To tell the truth...just about everyone would probably run a better time on a better (stickier) track...but the cool atmosphere/environment surrounding the track is an acceptable tradeoff.
