If you were at the show then you probably saw the BRIGHT green beast. The guys at Gilroy Chop Shop brought it to the show to advertise their business. I LOVE IT! Now I just have to chrome the grille and put the guts back in her. I'm shooting for the roadster show at the Cow Palace in January.

I liked the heavy tint on the windows... it's darker than "limo" tint...

That car looks bitchin up close but you're going to have to cut some slots in that black cardboard if you plan on driving it..

Damn that thing looks good as hell. Maybe its just the pic, but is the windshield tinted, too?

Edit, I'm a dumbass, I guess there isn't really a windshield...

I love it as well, looks awesome!... and I'm not even a green fan but it certainly suits the car. Looking forward to seeing it in person the begining of June when you drive it here for BilletProof Detroit.

You guys gotta see that grill surround up close - they did a super jub of making the Olds grill look like it grew right there in the Ford.

And that matte green is like neon - I saw people putting their sunglasses on as they came out of the vendor building just to be able to walk past Kirk's car.

if you think thats green ...you should see under the hood where it has clear on it....the pearl screams at you. Please just go ahead and finish this thing with a clearcoat Kirk!!!! Maybe it will start a new trend...traditional cars that actually get finished..I think some cars in the 50's had shiny paint on them too!!!
Oh yea...the silver coupe is Big Dirty's

Yeah, yeah, I heard like 30 people tell me it should get clear. I'll do clear in it's next incarnation. Thanks for the input!

Looks sweet Kirk. I'm considering going "skirtless" on my Fleetline. Are those Stude or Caddy caps?

It's looking great, especially the grille. So you didn't use the '53 merc headlight rings after all. I'm still holding the ones you were interested in. They will get used soon enough.

Regards, pigpen

Man, I was convinced that those cars looked better WITH the beltline trim. (I've got a '47 long-door minus the trim and do NOT like the look). Holy crap, your car totally changed my mind. When mine grows up, I want it to look like yours. LOL (Not even done and people plotting to clone it).

The proportions/angles on the chop are killer, and the rounded door corners/b-pillars are incredible. I love the way the drip rail provides needed definition, but fades effortlessly aft of the rear quarter windows. That car fucking FLOWS.

Looking forward to more DNA samples - I mean pictures!
