Sure would be neat if the seller who posted the add could edit the add INCLDING CHANGING the price. The present method is cumbersome.

No it isn't.
Just send your changes to me and I will do it for you.

One of the reasons is a few bad apple deals of guys changing stories and prices after deals were made etc.

This way, Moderators have history of request changes etc. and if a deal goes bad, at least we have some info to review if need be.
Not 100% bad apple proof but some ammo reserve.
