Here are a pic of my´n almost stock one in full use,but it is way to stock for me,and now that my 51 custom is done i need something to do.
so how did you did it?
Here's a pic of JohnnyLongHair's truck. If you like the chop I can show you where we cut it. I forget how much we cut it. It was like 4" in the back and 5" in the front. You don't need a second roof this way.

Due to popular demand, in the very near future I will be putting my web pages back up with pics of how I chopped the top on my old '48.

Using 2 roofs. Not leaning the posts or pinching the top in. An xtra pair of door tops will also save a lot of work.........OLDBEET

Boyd that truck looks so right on. The top and stance is a nice balance. Those old trucks are just begging to be chopped and like all old trucks you can't drop them much without needing chopped to look right.

3" chop as done by a friend. No extra roof needed.

Boyd Who,

I took 3 vertical inches out of it. Any more and they start to look fat in the lower half.
I'm still trying to find all my original chop pics, so please bear with me. Plus I started a new job/career this week and will be tied up with that, so updating my web page may take a little longer.
