Well,
I've been hanging out here for quite a while now and figured I should step in and say hi. I live in Mooresville, NC. I am interested in pretty much any thing with 2 or 4 wheels. I am mostly into traditional style rods (pretty much anything pre muscle car era) and any motorcycles with a 200mm and smaller rear tire. I get to work (for now) on a race team in nascars top series and really love my job.
I recently found (thanks to my beautiful wife) and purchased our first "older" car. She came home very excited one day claiming to have found an awesome old ford wagon. With me not thinking too much about it, she brought it up again a few days later when we were near, so... We went and checked it out. The next day we brought it home. It's been about 4 months now and nearly 2,000 miles and we couldn't be happier with it. BTW, it's a 60 ford falcon wagon, original 144, 3-spd. When I figure out how to post pics I will put up some in the falcon threads. It was built by someone else, whom I don't know, and is lowered, black, and has red wheels. I know some people on here just like to bash that stuff but I hope I can fit in and make some friends here without being chastized for not building it, it being flat black, etc. I am hoping to build lots of stuff in the future but need to get my garage plans finalized and such before then. Until then, my wife and I are enjoying our wagon, completing a 400 mile round trip cruise last weekend, and soaking it all in. So, hopefully, I can talk to some good folks, maybe meet some Charlotte area locals and have fun.
Until then-
Justin
