Rat Rod is a bad word around here, you won't find many friends and eventually if the post gets bad it will be deleted. Just giving you a fair warning. Plus anything newer then 1964 is frowned upon also.

Thanks for the heads up. I am looking at building a Rod with my own skills and materials. When I was a kid, good old cars lined up every road you traveled.
Somehow all of the junk mongers crushed them all and a few hippies spent a couple of million on a few to make, well, no profit.
I enjoy old cars. Period. I have wasted my life on surface transportation and don't regret it one bit.
I am an on the road salesman for one of the last INDEPENDANT auto parts stores in the country.
After having 3 wonderful kids and marrying the most amazing woman ever (she puts up with me) I now find my fun budget to equal what it was when I was 18.
Money or time, I don't have either, but I have skills to cut both down.
