Open Banjo rear??

I have an open Banjo rear center section. What year axle housings and axles will work with it?

35 onwards.

Just use the same spider gears that came with the axles, as there are different numbers of teeth, depending on which year axles you used. 37 onwards are different to pre 37.

what stovebolt said, but I believe the axles on postwar "46-8 were wider, so axle and housing will be longer. I have a '46 that I could measure and compare to my pre-war stuff, I believe the difference was 2". The later housings will also have an extra mount for sway bar. When looking for housings the wheel bearing surface is key. There is a sleeve available, machine shop job, not serious expensive but something to consider.
