These look like 50 Poncho's but they aren't. A blue dot shines through the center hole. (the finned aluminum spacer between the bezel and the body is custom made.) The art deco bezel is what intrigues me. If the pierce work was added to a routine bezel, he did a fantastic job.It appears to be all one piece.

how about a tag light for a trunk light.

I'd sure like to learn about those tail lights. The man that built the car passed away. I asked his son or soninlaw and he thought they were 39 Ford so I didn't bother asking anything more.

Tommy .. That Tail-lamp bezel is from a `37 Desoto .. I had a pair of complete units once , but they are long gone .
( Bullit-shaped like a `37 Ford , But a tad bigger ) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Did a quick search on Ebay, and found this pic ( Completed items , Collector cars , Ebay Motors ) :

Thanks for the pictures Tommy.
They show examples of VERY patient machine work.

To say nothing about the detail!

I would hazzard a guess that a LOT of time was spent producing those pieces.

Beautiful stuff!

And some very patient detail painting! Someone had to go round all those grooves with a small paint brush!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
