Hey Gang,

Well it looks like Dad is finally on the road to recovery. They did end up having to operate yesterday and the tear in his vein ended up being much larger than they anticipated. It's fixed now and he's getting back to normal... It amazing how much went wrong this week, we were expecting him home this past Friday and now it's looking like this coming Monday. All this for what was expected to be a routine procedure.

I spoke with him this morning and he's planning to rest and watch a race this afternoon (a sure sign of getting back into the swing of things). If he continues to improve, he'll be home sometime tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for the prayers and kind words. It helps more than you know.

Stacey, thanks for keeping us all up to date on his condition. I know it's probably been tough dealing with all the stuff that has happened this week and then getting hammered with emails from all of us. Anybody that has ever met your Dads know what a great guy and real hotrodder he is along with being a true friend. I just spoke with him on the phone and your right, he's gonna be alright! Keep him in line, and now you can get back to a more normal life and some good post on Faye! Tim
