Can't wait to put this bad boy in there! The bike will become an inch more lower in the front, which will get it exactly level with the ground..

Got this cyl. head on Ebay... Hope it'll run better with one carb. Thanks again to Bass for getting me all the carb specs. Can't wait to pick this stuff up in Cali!

Been fixing a new timing cover.. The one that is on my bike had a small crack that we welded, but since this material is soaked with oil in its structures, welds don't look too nice on there.
Before:

After: Not completely done.. Have to do some more polishing 'n so on..

Just me, but I definitely prefer bikes such as yours w/ out springers. They look too chunky on such lean, spindly scoots. But hey, that's just my opinion. I'll probably still dig the hell out of your bike http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Harpoon... I found these here in The netherlands. But with the help of your links I found out what I needed. And, I met a few people on antorher messageboard, from the US, who were more then happy with your links!
I was planning on buying one in the States, until some dude told me that he knew of a shop not to far away from me which had one laying around. A new one.. Repro.
There's a shop in my village too, but for them it takes ages to get one. Ordering from them is slow.
Now, from what that guy told me, who sold me the one I got now, all these forks are made in Europe, under license of a Dutch guy overhere. Seems that every repro that is sold in the USA is made here in Europe...
Don't know if that is a true story, but I do know that guys in Eastern European countries can work cheap and deliver high quality work... so they're probably made there.
A lot of body work on classic cars and chroming is done over there too...
Well... maybe I run into you at a show or whatever in So Cal.. I'll be there Wednesday night..
Later,
Maurice

They are made by 45'' Parts depot (http://www.45partsdepot.com/45parts/indexexp.html). Expect to see a LOT more bikes built with these forks in the near future.
This fully chromed front end retails for 950$US. Shipping included from the Netherlands.

I must be getting old, it doesn't seem like that many years ago there was a bunch of 45 army surplus spingers still in cosmoline for like $200-$250.

Whizzerick.. I know Kurt from 45PartsDepot, and I thought he would have 'em made... But the guy where I got mine from said it's not 45PartsDepot...
Harpoon... I was just assembling my forks, and saw that I mis a few parts, so I used your links again, because I need some extra parts...
That MAS Classics shop is in Buena park right..?
I can go pick up my stuff there next week!
I'm happy now.. I thought that I had to go to the phone again, and order stuff... again....
