If it ain't broke, don't replace it!

I must have pissed off my car. I was replacing some dash chrome, and thought I'd replace the headlight switch with one that looked to be in better shape. Get the dash back together, then I went to the store... Generator light starts to glow, when I back out of the parking spot, the car dies. I think "WTF??", it starts back up immediately. Now the generator light is glowing bright, and the car dies two more times at idle (waiting for lights). I get clear of traffic, step on it, and blast home. When I get on my street, the generator light goes out. I guess I'm putting that old switch back in. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
